Mazzoleni is pleased to announce that the exhibition Post-War Italian Art Tales will be open to the public from 12 April 2021. Starting out from the revolutionary artistic experiences which marked the second half of the XX century, this exhibition highlights the fundamental role of Italian art in the international panorama from the later post-war period up until the present day.
Conceived as a storytelling, this exhibition presents the various methods, styles and solutions of each artist, revealing them through critical quotes. The narrative of each artist describes a key aspect of his or her work which allows the viewer to embark on a personal journey through the eyes of art historians, critics and curators.
Artists shown: Carla Accardi, Getulio Alviani, Agostino Bonalumi, Alberto Burri, Enrico Castellani, Piero Dorazio, Lucio Fontana, Jannis Kounellis, Piero Manzoni, Fausto Melotti, Nunzio, Michelangelo Pistoletto.
